Terms of Service
Last updated October 10, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and DoodleReel (“DoodleReel”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your access to and use of the DoodleReel website, web application, render service and any related features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a subscription, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who may use DoodleReel
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account or buy a plan.
- If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.
- You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, or if we previously suspended or terminated your account.
2. Your account
- You sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google or Apple) or another method we offer. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us immediately at support@doodlereel.app if you suspect unauthorized use.
- One person, one account. You may not share, sell, transfer or rent your account, and you may not create multiple accounts to obtain extra free credits, referral rewards, promotions or allowances.
3. What the Service does
DoodleReel turns a topic you provide into a narrated, illustrated video. Depending on your plan, this includes AI-generated ideas, a script, narration, illustrations, an edited video, a vertical short, a thumbnail and suggested YouTube metadata. The Service relies on third-party artificial-intelligence models and infrastructure providers. Features, models, voices, styles, limits and output quality may change over time as we improve the Service or as our providers change their offerings. We do not guarantee that any specific model, voice, style or feature will remain available.
4. Plans, allowances and credits
- Plans. Paid plans (currently Lite and Pro) give you a number of videos per rolling 7-day window and access to the features described on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Allowances do not roll over, have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Free credits and referral rewards. Free videos, credits, trial periods, promotional codes and referral rewards are gifts. They are limited to the features we choose (for example, standard illustrations and the Lite narrator set), may expire, have no cash value, are not refundable or exchangeable, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. We may cancel any credit or reward that we reasonably believe was obtained through fraud, self-referral, multiple accounts or other abuse.
- Fair use. Plans are for one creator’s own channels. Automated or bulk submissions, reselling generated videos as a service, or any use that places an unreasonable load on the Service may be throttled, queued or suspended.
- Render times. Render times are estimates. Videos are processed in a queue and may take longer at busy times. Pro priority means Pro jobs are taken from the queue first; it is not a guaranteed delivery time.
- Failed renders. If a video fails because of a fault on our side, it does not count against your allowance, and you may retry it. This is your sole remedy for a failed render.
5. Billing, renewals and price changes
- Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Lemon Squeezy, which may act as merchant of record, or PayPal). Their terms also apply to your purchase. We never receive or store your full card details.
- Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) at the then current price, and your payment method is charged, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
- Prices are shown in US dollars and may exclude taxes, which are added where required by law.
- We may change our prices or plan contents. Price changes apply from your next renewal after we notify you, and you may cancel before then. Discounted or introductory prices apply only for the period stated.
- If a payment fails, we may retry it, downgrade your account, or suspend paid features until payment succeeds.
- Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy. Opening a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us may lead to immediate suspension of your account while the dispute is resolved.
6. Your content and the output
- Your input. You keep ownership of the topics, titles, text and other material you submit (“Input”). You confirm you have the rights needed to submit it and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights.
- Generated videos. As between you and DoodleReel, and to the extent we hold any rights in them, we assign to you our rights in the videos, scripts, images, audio and metadata generated for your account (“Output”), and you may use the Output for any lawful purpose, including commercially and on monetized channels.
- No exclusivity. AI models can produce similar or identical output for other users. Output may not be protectable by copyright in every country. We do not guarantee that your Output is unique, original, or free of third-party rights.
- License to operate the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit and display your Input and Output only as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers. We may show anonymized, non-identifying samples only with your permission.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for reviewing Output before you publish it, and for how and where you publish it, including compliance with YouTube’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, monetization and AI-disclosure policies, and the rules of any other platform.
7. AI output — important limitations
- AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased or offensive, and can contain factual errors or made-up details. Always fact-check before publishing.
- Output is not professional advice. Nothing produced by the Service is medical, legal, financial, tax, psychological or other professional advice, and you must not present it as such.
- We do not promise any result from using the Service, including views, subscribers, watch time, channel growth, monetization approval or revenue. YouTube and other platforms decide those outcomes, not us.
- Narration is produced with synthetic voices. They are not the voices of real people and must not be presented as such.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service, or let anyone else use it, to create, upload or publish content that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal activity, violence, terrorism or self-harm;
- is hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory or discriminatory;
- is sexually explicit, or sexualizes minors in any way;
- impersonates a real person or organization, or misleads viewers about who made it, including deepfakes and fake news presented as fact;
- infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- is spam, scam content, or designed to manipulate platforms (for example, mass-produced misleading videos);
- presents medical, legal or financial claims as professional advice.
You also agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, scrape, copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
- bypass plan limits, payment, security or rate limits, or access accounts or data that are not yours;
- overload, disrupt or attack the Service or its providers, or upload malware;
- use the Service in a way that breaks the usage policies of our AI providers.
We may refuse, remove or not render any request that we reasonably believe breaks these rules, without refunding the allowance used.
9. YouTube and other third-party services
- Some features connect to third-party services, such as Google sign-in, Apple sign-in and, where offered, YouTube. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. When you connect YouTube, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s Privacy Policy applies.
- You can disconnect YouTube at any time in DoodleReel, or revoke our access from your Google account’s security settings.
- We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, their decisions about your content or channel, or any changes they make that affect the Service.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service itself — including our software, website, design, brand, logos, illustrations made for our website, voice samples, prompts and templates — belongs to DoodleReel or our licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you no rights in it other than the limited right to use the Service as described here. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
11. Copyright complaints
If you believe content created with or hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, email support@doodlereel.app with: your contact details, the work you claim is infringed, where the infringing material is, a statement of good-faith belief, and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We may remove material and terminate repeat infringers.
12. Suspension and termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content, or refuse service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you broke these Terms, abused free credits or referrals, created risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law or by our providers. If we terminate a paid account without cause, we will refund the unused part of your current prepaid period.
- After termination, your right to use the Service ends. Download anything you want to keep: we may delete your videos and data after termination, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 6, 7, 10, 13, 14, 15 and 17) survive.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service and all Output are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that Output will be accurate or suitable for publishing, or that data will never be lost. Keep your own copies of your videos.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- DoodleReel and its owners, staff and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, views, subscribers, channel standing, monetization, data, goodwill or business opportunities, however caused, even if we were told they were possible.
- Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing.
- These limits apply to every theory of liability, including contract, tort (including negligence), statute and otherwise, and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest extent the law allows.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless DoodleReel and its owners, staff and suppliers from any claims, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Input, your use or publication of Output, your channels, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
16. Changes to the Service and to these Terms
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
17. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
- The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
- Before starting any formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at support@doodlereel.app and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
- Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arose, unless the law requires a longer period.
- Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of the country where you live.
18. General
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
- If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect and the unenforceable part is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of AI, hosting or payment providers.
- If these Terms are translated, the English version controls.
